Functional Knowledge

  • Develop and lead the launch of multi-channel marketing initiatives that promote the company brand
  • Suggest innovative solutions and implement them in a creative and practical way that will benefit the organization and its members
  • Support the development and implementation of marketing plans and strategies that align with the overall goals
  • Encourage the use of new ideas on projects
  • Maintain knowledge of latest trends in the industry (i.e. technological innovations, best practices, etc.)
  • Assist with marketing plan development and determine marketing objectives
  • Manage collateral development

People Development

  • Support, coach and mentor team to develop their skills and achieve their potential
  • Share knowledge and answers questions in an encouraging manner
  • Identify opportunities to expose team to new career experiences
  • Actively work at building relationships to develop a network of internal and external contacts
  • Identify and discover meaningful ways to recognize team members
  • Expand knowledge base and areas of technical competency through diverse experiences, training, and networking

Business

  • Maintain existing relationships and foster emerging cross-functional relationships
  • Forecast and plan workload for the group based on the project needs and team capacities
  • Review team productivity assessing and developing streamlined practices that ensure high levels of service to the business
  • Oversee team performance to ensure effectiveness (i.e. team work meets schedules and deliverables)
  • Participate in planning activities
  • Monitor business satisfaction levels and ensure that they remain high
  • Assist in determining HR planning and budgetary activities

Leadership

  • Address priorities and resource needs with Leader
  • Prepare and manage workload plans
  • Resolve project priorities in a timely manner
  • Ensure all projects under supervision are progressing on time
  • Refine existing or suggest and develop new approaches increase and maintain quality of work
  • Help other teams in RJC to leverage service offerings, leveraging your RJC colleagues about current project work and looking for opportunities to collaborate
  • Complete available Diversity, Equity and Inclusion trainings and frameworks to be a more diverse leader and contribute to team-specific and RJC-wide goals
  • Accountable for ensuring the HSE Program is communicated, understood and complied with by all levels of employees; providing employees with required training and equipment; informing employees of health and safety hazards; and ensuring continuous improvement of the overall program
