Functional Knowledge
- Edit, proofread, and produce complex word documents, including engineering specifications and reports, with proficiency in document version control methods.
- Tracking project deliverables and resources using software tools and input from the project team.
- Supervise Administrative Assistants and liaise with Project Administrators to ensure cohesive support for broader teams.
- Assist in receiving, processing, sorting, and filing internal and external documents, including financial and contractual materials, ensuring efficient organization and accessibility.
- Manage office facilities, and liaise with Property Manager on various items
- Work with key managers on office layout and seating arrangements to maximize space efficiency and coordinate the purchase of office furnishings
- In consultation with HR, assist with new employee on-boarding program
- Assist with maintaining Archive File Database (digital and hardcopy)
- Handle sending and receiving packages via courier and Canada Post, and assist in planning office events and catering arrangements.
People Development
- Volunteer to be a buddy for other employees
- Develop new areas of expertise by shadowing experts/approaching others for mentorship or taking additional training/courses
- Participate in and lead training
- Get involved in internal committees
- Monitor your development against action plans from performance reviews and be accountable for self-development

- Suggest innovative solutions for work; implement when appropriate

- Responsible for understanding, complying and participating in RJC’s HSE Program including completing required training, participating in hazard identification, assessment and control and informing their People Leader of any unsafe acts or conditions
